If you want a Pride or LGBTQ+ celebration card that looks like your people, Ottermagic is a straightforward place to make one. Upload a clear photo, run Style Swap, Face Swap, or Pet Swap, preview until it feels like them, then order a printed A5 card (148×210mm folded, 330gsm gloss, envelope included; Royal Mail around 3–5 working days in the UK, airmail around 2–3 weeks to US addresses), a poster or canvas, or an e-card (a hi-res, watermark-free download). You do not need a design labelled with a slogan. You need a photo they are happy to see on paper. Start at Ottermagic.com.

The useful outcome is a card that reads as your household, your couple, or your friends. The mechanism is a photo restyled or placed into a template. Confidence comes from the preview. You pay when the likeness feels kind.

What this card is for (and what it is not)

Pride month, Pride weekends, chosen-family birthdays, civil partnership or wedding anniversaries, and same-sex weddings are all ordinary reasons to send something personal. A Style Swap card works here for the same reason it works on any other date: the person on the front is recognisably themselves.

It does not need to shout. Some people want colour and a party face. Some people want Sketch or Watercolour and a short line inside. Both are fine. The photo and the tone of the day decide it, not a stereotype of what an LGBTQ+ card is supposed to look like.

If you have no photo, Text Swap still covers a name or a short message on a designed front. Larger text-led catalogues can be easier if you want to browse dozens of headline jokes. When you do have a photo, Style Swap, Face Swap, and Pet Swap are the reason to stay on Ottermagic.

Style Swap, Face Swap, Pet Swap, or Text Swap

Style Swap restyles the whole portrait into a named look. That is usually the first stop for a couple photo, friends, or a single portrait you already like. Brick, Chibi, Anime, Watercolour, Cartoon, Clay 3D, Photobooth, Sketch, and Royal Portrait all sit in the live list. Pick the look they would put on a fridge.

Face Swap puts a face into a finished scene. Use it when the joke or the warmth is the setting, and you know they will enjoy seeing themselves there. Skip anything that turns someone into a mascot they did not ask to be.

Pet Swap is a first-class path when the dog or cat is part of the household story. Plenty of Pride weekends include the animal. A clear full-body pet shot works better than a blurry park dash.

Text Swap is there when a face on the front would be too much, or you only have a name. Ottermagic still offers it. If a picture appears later, you can still make a Style Swap they will keep.

Live styles you can actually try: Brick, Chibi, Emoji, Anime, Watercolour, Caricature, Cartoon, Classic Cartoon, Action Figure, Clay 3D, Retro Halftone, Retro Game, Royal Portrait, Pixel Art, Bobblehead, Sticker Sheet, Tarot Card, Photobooth, Sketch, Lucky Leprechaun.

Same-sex weddings and partnership days

A wedding card for two brides, two grooms, or a couple who do not use those words should still look like those two people. Style Swap of a clear couple photo is often enough. Watercolour and Sketch sit quietly on a gift table. Photobooth and Cartoon suit a louder reception. Royal Portrait can be affectionate if they have that humour.

Face Swap is optional. Use a scene that is clearly a celebration portrait. You are making a card of them, not hunting for a clip-art frame. If you are asking someone to join the wedding party, that is a different job; use a proposal card, then come back here for the couple.

A printed A5 is easy to hand over if you allow around 3–5 working days in the UK, or around 2–3 weeks to a US address. If the ceremony is closer, take the e-card. Posters and canvas are available if someone would hang the artwork; check Ottermagic.com for live wall-art details.

Pride weekends and ordinary Tuesdays

Not every LGBTQ+ card is for June. Birthdays, housewarmings, and the anniversary of a day that mattered use the same upload-and-preview path.

Pride-weekend photos are often taken in crowds and mixed light. Step someone a metre away from the group if you can, face the camera, and keep sunglasses off unless the glasses are the joke. A dedicated portrait from earlier in the year is often kinder than a night-time street photo.

Chibi and Anime can work for younger recipients. Action Figure and Clay 3D work when they like that extra. Caricature and Bobblehead only if you already know they laugh at their own face. When you are unsure, generate Sketch and Photobooth.

Photo manners

Use a picture they already like, or one they have shared on purpose. A card can sit on a shared mantel. If someone is not out in every room of their life, do not make that decision for them with a posted A5.

Parade group shots are awkward Face Swap inputs. Crop to the person, or take a new frame. Pets are fair game when they are part of the story; get ears and face in the shot. If the first preview is "almost them," change the photo before you change brands.

US shoppers get the same choice: the printed A5 by airmail, or the e-card when the date is close. The Style Swap, Face Swap, and Pet Swap artwork is the same. Checkout is in pounds in the UK shop and dollars in the US shop. Support: support@ottermagic.com (reply within one working day).

You can like one preview and order more than one A5, or take the e-card as well as a posted card. The likeness does not change with the format.

Messages that stay human

The front does the recognition. Write the names you actually use and a short line ("See you Saturday. Love you. Bring the dog."). If you print a message, keep it short so it does not fight the artwork. Handwriting on 330gsm gloss still works; the envelope is already in the pack.

Ready when you are

FAQ

Can I make a Pride card without a rainbow template?

Yes. A Style Swap of a couple, a friend, or a pet is often enough. The greeting can sit inside, or on a Text Swap front if you have no photo.

Is Face Swap appropriate for a same-sex wedding card?

It can be, when the scene is a celebration portrait and you like the preview. If the template feels like a costume they would not wear, stay on Style Swap.

What if someone is not out everywhere?

Do not post a face-led card into a household where that would cause harm. Text Swap, or a card without a likeness, is the kinder product in that case.

Can I send the same artwork to several friends?

Yes. Order more than one printed A5, take the e-card to share, or look at poster and canvas if one home would hang it.

How early should I order a printed Pride card in the UK?

Allow around 3–5 working days with Royal Mail, more if a bank holiday sits in the way. If you are already inside that window, use the e-card.

Does Ottermagic do pet Pride cards?

Yes, via Pet Swap. Upload a clear pet photo, preview, then print or download.
